Hello. Or should I say G’Day.
I have been a teacher of General and Academic English for 30 years and have worked with different education institutions. My experience teaching international students from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds has been rewarding and challenging.
As a multilingual speaker of 4 languages and still learning new ones, I appreciate the time and effort it takes to not only learn a new language but to want to excel in it, especially if the objective is to achieve a high result in a language examination.
Studying in Australia presents international students with so many opportunities including working, community service, social activities and meeting people from many multicultural backgrounds.
The balance you must manage between all these aspects of your life is how you should balance the different sections in a language examination. That is with good time management and self-confidence.
And do not forget to enjoy the experience.
